KOFI CROWNS THE BATTLE

The Studio B of TV3 last Sunday night, January 6, 2008 became the centre of attraction as many fans of the contestants thronged there to witness the finale show of the Battle.
The event attracted lots of rafters and studio audience were treated with wide range of gospel, R and B, high life and so on. Among the array who entertainted the audience were the evictees of the Battle.
Joe took turns as his stage performce thrilled audince as well as the Judges. In the midst of the event, Kwabena Kwabena entertained the crowd with very good renditions and of course backed by the Master Mix Band brought the ecstatic audience to their feet and
singing alongside him.
Kofi, the winner received 6,000 Ghana cedi Business class ticket to Malaysia, Tigo souvenirs, products from Mobile water, hamper from Kasapreko, Sky flakes products and a recording deal. The second prize went to Prince who also received 4,000 Ghana cedis
Sky flakes products, products from Mobile water, hamper form Kasapreko and Tigo survenirs.
Isaac received the third position by having 2,000 Ghana cedis, Tigo survenirs, Sky flakes products, products from Mobile water and a hamper from Kasapreko. Joe took the fourth prize of 1,000 Ghana cedis, Tigo survenirs, Sky flakes, products from Mobile water and a hamper from Kasapreko.
The guest artiste was Kwabena Kwabena who also managed to score a breakthrough over the audience. His rendition soothed the hearts of both audience and the Judges. The Judges were around to do their usual
thing.
There were two phase of the show where contestants were judged by only three Judges chosen by Presenter Anita. In the phase two, Isaac commenced with a song entitiled I can see clearly. Unfortunately his choice of song did not go well for him according to the Judges.
Kofi came with Different colours by Lucky Dube. This is a winning performance says Judge Ben Brako.
Next was Prince who also took the challenge to do Happy people by R Kelly. His performence was the first time in the life of notorious Mark to give him a hug. Indeed the show is getting hotter and hotter as it was approaching the final show down.
It all ended at the Yegoala night club.
