SOUL TOUCH
The Name is Soul Touch and we are ten in number. Our individual names are Nana yaw, Abu, James, Isaac, Hayford, Emmanuel, Rita, Elisha, Solomon and Portia.

We want Ghana to vote for us because we the best among the rest. Also, Soul Touch is the band that Kofi of MENTOR FAME came out from. So we knew we had talents to show Ghanaians.

We are in the competition because we know we have what it takes to win the completion. We also have exceptional individual talents that Ghanaians would love to see. Individual members have played for people or artist like Amakye Dede, Nana Fynn, Tagoe Sisters, Reverend Yawson, Jude Lomotey, Noble Nketia, Christiana Love, etc.

This band started in the year 2000 and most of the members currently are new and schooling. We are located among the best. We therefore don?t play anything below the best.

3x3
3x3 is da name! Tema is da base, and we?re right here doing it @ TV3. Don?t be surprised when you here the name 3x3. It not an equation but the name of a vibrant band made up of nine as in the multiplication 3x3. We have three beautiful ladies who bare the names, Lizzy, Ama and Jacky. Complimented by six young sexy men; John, Jack, Richy, Rans, Thomas, and Emma (Oyo Hene)

Vote for us for we are multi ? talented in choreography, vocal power, in dynamism, you name it. We rock like it nobody?s business. We are here to prove to Ghanaians that live band music is not only pertained to the older generations but also to the young fresh blood. To be precise, well educated and successful young people.

This Band was in existence seven years ago but was not made up of the current members. The nine members named above came together upon hearing of this innovative programme and revived the band. We will stay together and make live band music live long.

CAF
The name of the group is CAF (Crochet Africa) we are thirteen in number but Bands Alive requirement reduced us to nine members. Namely, Nana Kofi ? Organist, Sylvester ? Bass, Uriah ? guitarist, Fred G ? Drummer, Richmond ? Trumpeter, John ? Trumpeter, Mawuli ? Percussionist, Hassy B ? Vocals and Kwabena ? Vocals.

We entreat all Ghanaians to vote for us because we are the best among the lot. We are the most versatile of all the bands. Talk of Afro Pop (which is our favorite), high life, reggae, R & B, Adadamu, etc. We are the only band that will put smile on your face all the time.

We are in this contest to show the whole world the talents that God deposited in us. To help project live band music in Ghana and abroad, to enhance our standard of living as they ?music is life? and to prove to our generation and the generation yet to come, that they can also make it big through good live band music.

We have been playing music together as friends at church programs, dinner parties, etc for a long time until the 3rd of September when the leader of the group, Nana Kofi Sarpong decided to bring all the members together as a band and ever since, we have been rehearing as a strong team and also playing GIGS at various functions until this great opportunity was given by GAMA FILMS and TV3. We saw it as a great opportunity to prove the whole country what great band CAF is.

TRINITY
We are called Trinity and comprised by Benjamin, Frederick, Francis, Ernest, Lawrence, Sampson, Betty, Gladys and Evans making up the nine members.

People should vote for us because we are projecting the soul music and by soul music we mean songs that will inspire your soul to bring the best in you. We are in this contest to bring out our hidden talent.

The group was formed by five members called Black Afrique and was later changed to Trinity by the direction of God through the leaders. The motto of the group is ?Projecting the soul music?. We have been in existence for six months.

BENVERJ INT. BAND (BIB)
We are eight in number. Hughs Jnr, Kumi ? Bruce, D Antwi, Van ? Orgle, E Aikins, S Attopee, Millicent S and q Hammond make up our wonderful band.

The wonderful people out there should vote for us because we are committed to our talents and poised to give them a good show; therefore, to keep us in the show and enjoy what we have for them, we need their votes.

We are here to show the whole world, the real stuff BIB is made of, to exhibit the wonderful talents God has bestowed on us, to start off a long ? lasting career in music, to contribute to the vision of re ? kindling live band music and to follow the foot steps of a great band like OSIBISA.

BIB is an Afro Pop band and it has been in existence for the past four years. For all these years, we have created and maintained an enviable reputation for chumming out various styles of good music i.e. (highlife, hip life, jazz, R & B, etc.)Some of the very satisfied outfit we have had an encounter with include; Radio Gold, Unique Floral, Busia Foundation, Ebo, Wutah and so much more. We aspire to be sound re ? in forced authority in the not so distant future.

LIBERTY STAR
Angel, Esther, Israel, Samuel, Joshua, Daniel, Isaac, Sammy and Linda makes up the nine members we have.
We will need your votes because we have young talented musicians who have the passion to bring people closer to God and also entertain listeners by providing soul inspiring music.We are in this contest to showcase our talents and skills for the benefits of all.

Liberty Star emerged from Liberty Centre Assemblies of God Church, Abeka Lapaz three years ago. Talented members of the Tabernacle Choir were trained specially with the instruments. We are currently the best selections for bands alive.

BIG SHOT (Comes like a gunshot)
Nine members namely, Hewton, Foster, Sandra, Bright, Michael, Nina, Bernard Samuel and Patience.

People should vote for Bigshot because we have all it takes when it comes to music theory and practical. We are in a better position to avert the music scene of Ghana.

We joined Bands Alive because we saw it as an opportunity to prove to Ghana that music student are theatrically and practically endowed in music and to advertise the ?campus based band? & and University of Ghana.

The music department has a practical course ?Pop Ensemble? and every year selects the best students to make up the pop band of the department and school. Last years band took the name Bigshot and currently partaking in Bands Alive.

KAKRA (Nokofio)
Asare D, Apiedu P, Boakye S, Richard A, Edward O, Nii Otoo, Samuel A. Four strong talented young men make up our band.

We want people to vote for us because we are the best group in the contest. We are ever ready to lift the music on high and to entertain the young and the old both in this and the generation to come. Our aim for being in this contest is to explore God?s given talents that are in us, because we want to promote live band music which our fathers left as a legacy. We also want to live the same legacy to the generations to come. We are here to win the Bands Alive contest because we eat music, sleep music, drink music, think music and play music.

The band was formed by individuals from different musical background. It means every member is good in whatever instrument he plays cos we are all coming from different bands in Accra. We met four months ago to perform at a party on the 3rd of November 2007. From then on, we decided to play as a band. The name KRAKRA came about as a result of this saying ?Because of the little we will eat?.

AMEN
Amen is the name and we are made up of seven men and two women. We need your votes to keep us moving forward and backwards never. We also have what it takes to become the winners of this competition. The reason for participation is, we have the talents but no helper to push us to the dream light. It is our prayer that we attract music lovers and philanthropists to help us become one of the international performers. Amen is just one month old..

THE SAX
Members of the band are Bro Michael, Pastor Moses, Simon, Samuel, Clement, Prince, Silvanus, Benjamin and Osei Kumi. The band was formed on the 5th of January this year. We are based in Dansoman. We chose the sax instrument because it the most vibrant instrument we all like.

God has vested a talent in us and we want to come out there to bless people with our talents by making people happy in time of merriment, sorrow joy and type of occasions. That is why we want people to vote for us.We are in the contest to prove our abilities and to improve upon our skills.

WARRIORS
We are nine members (Dominic, Raymond, Samuel M, Samuel K, Solomon, Wisdom, Anim, Emmanuel and Godwin)

We are urging every one to vote for us so we can stay in the competition and feed their souls for what they have been waiting for all this years. When we say WARRIORS, we mean rhythms and expensive ones indeed.

It?s been quite some time we rehearsed and people wonder what we?ve been doing all these while. We felt this will be a great opportunity to express what we?ve been doing all these time. We need to be commented upon because we have been indoors doing our thing and we felt this is the right opportunity to hear our flaws and work on them and we have to get to the top and this is the stepping stone to climb up.

It started about a year ago. Everything including the instruments was provided by Mac Tontoh (OSIBISA) for our band upon hearing our rhythm and style of play. It?s been tight up till now and above the sky is the limit..

M1 BAND
M1 is the name of this band, which means, THE MIGHTY ONE (1). We are nine in number (Ken, Seth, Zigi B, Biney F, Harriet O, Rasty K, Kingsley B, Akwaboah Jnr G and O Darko).

We think people should vote for us cos be believe we have the strength and capabilities to bring back highlife music and stop miming in the system.

We want people who don?t have knowledge about band music, to feel how interesting it is compared to miming. That s basically the reason for being in the contest.
