TV3 CARNIVAL 2007

TV3 has held a Christmas family carnival at Adesa we in Accra.

Children were able to interact with presenters of the station, while various activities were packaged for their entertainment.

This year?s Christmas carnival which was sponsored by Onetouch is organized annually by the station to entertain families and also feed the curiosity of children on activities concerning the station's operations.

As early as 8am a lot of children had trooped to TV3 Adesa we to watch programmes and take part in the activities. Various musicians both gospel and hip life artistes were around to make the children feel the thrill. And of course they were able to thrill the over five hundred people who have come from far and near to be entertained.

Most of the live programmes like the morning show 'Start' and the news were also produced and presented outside the usual studios to show viewers how programmes are aired. Children had fun on the bouncy castle, while others went on horse rides.

But what most children found entertaining was the face painting session and many children went for the TV3 logo. The masqueraders from Winneba, traditional dancers and Santa Claus were all there to entertain the children. More over, they were some cultural displays to warm the kids.

From toddlers to teenagers, all enjoyed the cowbell stand which gave out drinks from Pomasidor.

They also enjoyed khebabs, drinks and pop corn. Parents were grateful to TV3 for organizing this special day. TV3 Manager for the brands management group, Janet Carboo Danquah said ushering the children into the world of communications is an eye opener.

Auditions for news casting were done and the winner had the opportunity of presenting the news bulletin at 2pm.

The Christmas carnival did not end there but continued from 9:00pm till day break with lots of musical performances from various artistes, both gospel and hi-life, hiplife and reggae.
